Ben has had a diverse and unique background in business, with roots in distressed investing and entrepreneurial ventures, where he has overseen numerous successful real estate and related business concerns.
Upon graduating from college, becoming the 4th generation of his family to enter the real estate business, Ben got his start handling all leasing and property management responsibilities for a portfolio of retail properties in the Southeast. The role quickly evolved, and shortly thereafter Ben became the asset manager and general partner for all related partnership entities.
In addition to operating functions for the portfolio, during the most recent economic downturn Ben was instrumental in deploying capital for a private investment firm, where he sourced, underwrote and executed opportunistic investments across the capital stack in real estate, energy and in the public markets. Simultaneously, Ben formed Haverhill Holdings to co-invest and manage these investments.
Along with overseeing the day-to-day operations for Haverhill Holdings, Ben’s primary focus is on capital allocation where he orchestrates all debt and equity financings and acquisition/disposition decisions. Ben holds a BA Communication from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Georgia. Ben is also a member of ULI and ICSC.

SAUL BECKER – In Memoriam
1927 to 2014
As the fourth generation in the real estate business, Ben had the unique opportunity to work directly with his Grandfather, Saul, for over 6 years. Realizing the special situation that they were in, they quickly developed an unwritten partnership allowing them to enhance each other’s business skills exponentially, working on deals together until the day Saul passed away. Ever the shrewd deal maker and entrepreneur; Saul’s enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity and imagination are shared regularly throughout the office by Ben, generally with a story or “one-liner,” followed by laughter, a shake of the head and love.
